Pakistan batting all-rounder Salman Ali Agha has made it clear that he can turn the ball when bowling off-spin.

Salman has become an integral member of the national team and is being used in all three formats.

During Pakistan’s limited overs series against Australia, he played in all three ODIs, but only batted once, scoring 12 runs.

In the three-match T20I series, he only managed to make five runs at an average of 1.66.

Pakistan then embarked on a tour of Zimbabwe and Salman mustered 34 runs in three ODIs at an average of 17.

He also picked up six wickets at an average of 16.83.

Afterwards, he made 45 runs in three T20Is at an average of 22.50, while also taking two wickets at an average of 13.

The 31-year-old was then involved in Pakistan’s tour of South Africa and performed brilliantly in the ODI series, amassing accumulating 163 runs in three matches, which included a career-best 82 not out, at an average of 81.50.

On top of this, he also finished with five wickets at an average of 22.

As for the two-Test series, Salman accumulated 86 runs at an average of 21.50 and claimed three wickets at an average of 57.66.

Even though the conditions in South Africa didn’t offer much assistance for his spin bowling, the Lahore native insisted that he can get the ball to turn.

“Trust me, I can turn the ball,” Salman was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.

During their tour of South Africa, Pakistan lost the T20I series 2-0 before rebounding to secure a 3-0 victory in the ODIs.

However, they failed to finish on a high as the Proteas whitewashed them 2-0 in the Test series.
