Pakistan middle order batsman Salman Ali Agha has lavished praise on speedster Mohammad Abbas, saying he is a “great bowler”.
His comments come after Abbas put on quite a show in his Test comeback during the two-match series against South Africa.
Abbas ended the series with 10 wickets, which included career-best figures of 6-54 in the 1st Test, at an average of 24.60.
The 34-year-old, who returned to the Test team after three years, was by far Pakistan’s best bowler and nearly won them the 1st Test.
“Mohammad Abbas is a great bowler,” Salman was quoted as saying by Samaa TV.
Salman also featured in the two-Test series against the Proteas and scored 86 runs at an average of 21.50.
Additionally, he chipped in with three wickets at an average of 57.66.
