Former Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has told pace bowler Haris Rauf to “keep rocking” following his outstanding performances over the last couple of months.

Rauf was recently involved in Pakistan’s limited overs series against Australia and took 10 wickets in three ODIs, which included a five-wicket haul, at an average of 12.

In the three T20Is that followed, he claimed five wickets at an average of 15.40.

After this, the men in green went to Zimbabwe and Rauf continued to dominate, picking up three wickets in three ODIs at an average of 32.

He then featured in the T20I series and finished with three wickets in two games at an average of 10.

Pakistan are now taking on South Africa, but Rauf saw his form dip slightly as he went wicketless in both the T20I and ODI series.

Despite this small hiccup, Hafeez advised the 31-year-old to “keep believing in your abilities”.

“Keep believing in your abilities & keep rocking man,” he said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Pakistan and South Africa are now playing a two-Test series, which the Proteas lead 1-0 after securing a two-wicket win in the 1st Test in Centurion.

The 2nd Test began on January 3 in Cape Town.
