Rassie van der Dussen: “When it swings, Shaheen Afridi is world-class”

South Africa batsman Rassie van der Dussen said Pakistan left-arm seamer Shaheen Shah Afridi is “world-class” when the ball is swinging.
Afridi has developed a reputation for striking early with the new ball as he gets plenty of movement and hits the right areas.
Having faced the 24-year-old, Van der Dussen knows how dangerous Afridi is and the damage he can inflict.
“When it swings, Shaheen Afridi is world-class,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Afridi was recently in action in Pakistan’s limited overs series against Australia and took eight wickets in three ODIs at an average of 12.62.
He followed that up with one wicket in three T20Is at an average of 107.
After the Australia tour, Pakistan headed to Zimbabwe, but Afridi was rested for both the ODI and T20I series.
He returned for the ongoing tour of South Africa and claimed three wickets in two T20Is at an average of 19.66.
As for the ODIs, he finished with seven wickets in three matches at an average of 23.28.
Pakistan and South Africa are now playing a two-Test series, which the Proteas lead 1-0 after winning the 1st Test in Centurion by two wickets.
The 2nd Test will start on January 3 in Cape Town.
