Pakistan all-rounder Mubasir Khan is keen to build on his good form, but confirmed that the “next step” for him is to start finishing games.

The 22-year-old is among the many promising prospects in the country and was recently in action in the Champions T20 Cup, where he played for the Panthers.

In eight matches, he scored 125 runs at an average of 17.85 and a strike-rate of 143.67.

He also took four wickets at an average of 24.50.

“Good form is great, but finishing games is the next step,” Mubasir was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Pakistan recently travelled to Australia for a limited overs series and came away with mixed results as they won the ODIs 2-1 but were thumped 3-0 in the T20Is.

They then headed to Zimbabwe and triumphed 2-1 in both the ODI and T20I series.

Pakistan are now in South Africa and lost the T20I series 2-0 before rebounding to secure a 3-0 victory in the ODIs.

The men in green and the Proteas are currently playing a two-Test series, which began on December 26 in Centurion.
