Rassie van der Dussen: “Haris Rauf also comes with his pace”

South Africa batsman Rassie van der Dussen has pointed out the difficulty of facing a rapid bowler like Haris Rauf, saying the Pakistan speedster bowls at serious pace.
Rauf has surpassed the 150 kph mark before and has even come close to breaking the 155 kph barrier.
Lately, the 31-year-old has been in excellent form as he took 10 wickets in three ODIs against Australia, which included a five-wicket haul, at an average of 12.
He then proceeded to claim five wickets in three T20Is at an average of 15.40.
Following the Australia series, Pakistan went to Zimbabwe and Rauf picked up three wickets in three ODIs at an average of 32.
As for the T20Is, he finished with three wickets in two games at an average of 10.
Rauf was unable to maintain his momentum in the ongoing tour of South Africa as he went wicketless in both the T20I and ODI series.
Nonetheless, Van der Dussen knows it would be a mistake to underestimate the Pakistan fast bowler.
“Haris Rauf also comes with his pace,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Pakistan and South Africa are now playing two Tests, with the first match having gotten underway on December 26 in Centurion.
