David Warner: “All those youngsters who want to learn playing [the] pull shot should see the batting of Babar Azam”

Former Australia opener David Warner said youngsters who want to play the pull shot properly should watch and learn from Pakistan batsman Babar Azam.
Azam is one of the elite cricketers in the world as he has been Pakistan’s frontline batsman in all three formats for a few years.
Even though his form has deserted him for some time, Warner pointed out that the 30-year-old is such a technically gifted player.
“All those youngsters who want to learn playing [the] pull shot should see the batting of Babar Azam,” he was quoted as saying by journalist Arfa Feroz Zake on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Azam was recently involved in Pakistan’s limited overs series against Australia and made 80 runs in three ODIs at an average of 80.
He followed that up with 47 runs in three T20Is at an average of 15.66.
After the Australia series, Pakistan toured Zimbabwe, but Azam was rested for both the ODI and T20I series.
He is now back in action for the men in green and amassed 31 runs in two T20Is against South Africa at an average of 15.50.
As for the ongoing ODI series, the Lahore native has registered scores of 23 and 73 in the first two matches.
Pakistan hold an unassailable 2-0 lead heading into the 3rd ODI, which will be held on December 22 in Johannesburg.
Once the ODIs are done, Pakistan and South Africa will play two Tests, with the first match beginning on December 26 in Centurion.
