Darren Gough: “Haris Rauf is an amazing character. I’m a massive fan of his bowling”

Former England fast bowler Darren Gough has admitted that he is a “massive fan” of Pakistan speedster Haris Rauf.
Gough, who was recently appointed as head coach of the Lahore Qalandars, noted that he loves the way Rauf bowls and called the 31-year-old an “amazing character”.
Rauf has been in red-hot form as of late as he took 10 wickets in three ODIs against Australia, which included a five-wicket haul, at an average of 12.
He followed that up with five wickets in three T20Is at an average of 15.40.
Rauf continued to impress during Pakistan’s tour of Zimbabwe as he claimed three wickets in three ODIs at an average of 32.
In the three-match T20I series, he picked up three wickets in two games at an average of 10.
“Haris Rauf is an amazing character. I’m a massive fan of his bowling,” Gough was quoted as saying by respected journalist Saj Sadiq on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Pakistan are now taking on South Africa in a three-match T20I series, but Rauf went wicketless in the first match, which the men in green lost by 11 runs.
The 2nd T20I will be held on December 14 in Centurion.
Once the T20I series is done, Pakistan and South Africa will play three ODIs and two Tests, which will get underway on December 17 and December 26 respectively.
