Former Australia opening batsman Aaron Finch has warned other teams not to underestimate Pakistan as he knows they are “an extremely talented side”.
The men in green have done fairly well as of late as they recently beat England 2-1 in a Test series, which gave them their first Test series win at home since 2021.
They then went on to play three ODIs against Australia and triumphed 2-1, which earned them their first ODI series victory in the country since 2002.
Despite losing the T20I series 3-0, Pakistan bounced back during their tour of Zimbabwe as they won both the ODI and T20I series 2-1.
“[The] Pakistan cricket team is an extremely talented side and you cannot take them lightly,” Finch was quoted as saying by journalist Arfa Feroz Zake on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Next up for Pakistan will be a tour of South Africa, which will consist of three T20Is, three ODIs and two Tests.
The T20I series will begin on December 10, while the ODI and Test series will get underway on December 17 and December 26 respectively.
