Former Australia batsman Michael Hussey believes Pakistan are good enough to “beat any team in the world, anywhere in the world”.
The men in green have had mixed results as of late as they recently beat England 2-1 to win their first Test series on home soil since 2021.
Following that, they made more history by travelling to Australia and defeating them 2-1, which gave them their first ODI series win in the country since 2002.
As for the T20Is that followed, Pakistan were thrashed 3-0.
Despite their turbulent performances, Hussey insisted that the men in green have a “talented bunch of cricketers” who are capable of leading the team to wins over the top sides in the world.
“This is a talented bunch of cricketers from Pakistan. There is that unity in this team as well. They can beat any team in the world, anywhere in the world,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Pakistan are now taking on Zimbabwe in a three-match ODI series, which is tied at 1-1 going into the final game on November 28 in Bulawayo.
After this, both teams will play three T20Is, with the first match getting underway on December 1 in Bulawayo.
