Pakistan spinner Saeed Ajmal: “If they keep preparing pitches like the one for the 2nd Test in Multan, I might think about making a comeback to international cricket”

Legendary Pakistan spinner Saeed Ajmal jokingly said he would consider coming out of retirement and playing international cricket again if pitches like the one used in the second Test against England keep being prepared.
Ajmal is one of Pakistan’s most successful spinners and troubled batsmen all over the world with his plethora of variations.
After seeing Noman Ali and Sajid Khan dominate with the ball in the second and third Tests against England, the 47-year-old from Faisalabad believes even he could have enjoyed great success on such wickets.
Noman finished with 20 wickets at an average of 13.85, while Sajid claimed 19 wickets at an average of 21.10 as Pakistan won the series 2-1.
“If they keep preparing pitches like the one for the 2nd Test in Multan, I might think about making a comeback to international cricket,” Ajmal was quoted as saying by respected journalist Saj Sadiq on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Pakistan are now taking on Australia in a limited overs series, which consists of three ODIs and three T20Is.
The men in green won the ODI series 2-1, which was the first instance of this happening in Australia since 2002.
Currently, Australia lead the T20I series 1-0.
Following their tour of Australia, Pakistan will travel to Zimbabwe to play three ODIs and three T20Is from November 24 to December 5.
