Pakistan middle order batsman Salman Ali Agha was very impressed with spinners Noman Ali and Sajid Khan during the three-Test series against England as they contributed tremendously with both the bat and ball.

Both of them only featured in the second and third Tests, but had a massive impact that ended up turning things around for the men in green and resulting in a 2-1 win, which was the team’s first Test series victory at home since 2021.

Noman took 20 wickets, which included two five-wicket hauls, at an average of 13.85.

The 38-year-old also made 78 runs at an average of 26.

As for Sajid, he finished with 19 wickets, which also included two five-fors, at an average of 21.10.

Batting-wise, the 31-year-old scored 72 runs at an average of 36.

“Look at Sajid [Khan]. He took… wickets and scored important runs. And then you will see Noman Ali. He came and took wickets, and scored important runs. I think it’s very good for Pakistan cricket, the way they came and gelled in and contributed. That’s amazing,” Salman told Sky Sports as quoted by ESPNcricinfo.

Salman also did well in the Test series against England, amassing 262 runs, which included a century and two fifties, at an average of 65.50.

He is now involved in Pakistan’s limited overs series against Australia, which consists of three ODIs and three T20Is.

In the ODIs, he only batted once and scored 12 runs, but the men in green ended up triumphing 2-1, which gave them their first ODI series win in Australia since 2002.

As for the T20Is, Salman only made four runs in the first T20I, which Pakistan lost by 29 runs after it had been shortened to seven overs per side.

Following the Australia tour, the men in green will head to Zimbabwe to play three ODIs and three T20Is from November 24 to December 5.
