Ahmed Shehzad: “You have to give opportunity to the youngsters, players like Kamran Ghulam and Mohammad Ali”

Pakistan cricketer Ahmed Shehzad has urged the selectors to keep giving opportunities to middle order batsman Kamran Ghulam and fast bowler Mohammad Ali.
Ghulam recently made his Test debut during Pakistan’s three-match series against England and amassed 147 runs in two games, which included a top score of 118, at an average of 49.
As for Ali, he has featured in four Tests to date and taken six wickets at an average of 67.66.
However, he hasn’t played Test cricket since Pakistan’s two-match series against Bangladesh, which took place from August to September 2024.
Shehzad noted that both players have shown great promise and deserve plenty of chances to prove their worth at the international level.
“You have to give opportunity to the youngsters, players like Kamran Ghulam and Mohammad Ali,” he said on his YouTube channel as quoted by Cricket Pakistan.
Pakistan’s next assignment will be a limited overs tour of Australia, which will consist of three ODIs and three T20Is that will be held from November 4 to 18.
After this, they will travel to Zimbabwe to play three ODIs and three T20Is from November 24 to December 5.
