Imam-ul-Haq confirmed that he has been mistreated in the Pakistan team

Pakistan opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq has claimed that he was mistreated in the national team.
While he didn’t provide more details regarding the nature of his mistreatment, the 28-year-old’s comments are no doubt shocking.
Imam has been one of Pakistan’s go-to openers, especially in ODIs, where he averages 48.27 with the bat.
He has also featured in 24 Tests and two T20Is, where he averages 37.33 and 10.50 respectively.
As quoted by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter, Imam simply said “yes” when questioned whether he was the victim of unfair treatment.
Imam, the nephew of legendary Pakistan captain and batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq, recently played for the Lions in the Champions One-Day Cup, which was a domestic 50-over competition that took place in Faisalabad.
In four matches, he amassed 212 runs, which included three fifties, at an average of 53.
He then represented Pakistan Television in the President’s Cup Grade-I (1-Day) tournament and made 157 runs in four games, which included two half-centuries, at an average of 78.50.
Imam was not selected for Pakistan’s two-Test series against Bangladesh, which the men in green lost 2-0.
He also didn’t make the cut for the ongoing three-match Test series against England, which is tied at 1-1.
The third Test began on October 24 in Rawalpindi.
