Pakistan Test captain Shan Masood acknowledged the impressive performances fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain has been putting up in domestic cricket, calling it “amazing”.

Hasnain is trying to revive his international career as he last played for Pakistan in January 2023.

Recently, the 24-year-old featured in the Champions One-Day Cup, which was a domestic 50-over competition held in Faisalabad, and finished as the highest wicket-taker with 17 wickets in six games for the Panthers at an average of 16.17.

He then played for Pakistan Television in the President’s Cup Grade-I (1-Day) tournament and was the joint third-highest wicket-taker with nine victims in four matches at an average of 19.55.

“Hasnain was amazing in [the] Champions Cup,” Masood was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Hasnain wasn’t picked for Pakistan’s two-Test series against Bangladesh, which the men in green lost 2-0.

They are now facing England in a three-match Test series, which is tied at 1-1.

The third Test will begin on October 24 in Rawalpindi.
