Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Rohail Nazir unveiled his plans for the future, saying he wants to play Test cricket first before securing a spot in the team for upcoming World Cups.

Nazir is regarded as a future star and has expressed his desire to represent his country in all three formats.

The 22-year-old, who hails from Islamabad, recently featured in the President’s Cup Grade-I (1-Day) tournament.

In the five matches he played for Khan Research Laboratories, he amassed 100 runs at an average of 25.

“I think my future goals are to represent Pakistan in all three formats. Not just represent, but in the right way. Before any wish, my preparations are good. My goals are to first get my Test cap, then play in the World Cup,” he told Cricket Pakistan.
