Babar Azam: “We also know what type of player Azam Khan is, what type of players Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan are, and they have performed”

Pakistan white-ball captain Babar Azam said everyone knows Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman and Azam Khan are quality players.
He noted that all three have performed, even though Azam and Zaman haven’t been in the best of form as of late. Both players recently featured in the 2024 T20 World Cup, with the former getting dismissed for a golden duck against the United States of America, which was the only game he played.
As for Zaman, he finished with 33 runs in four matches at an average of 8.25 and a strike-rate of 110.
Rizwan, meanwhile, amassed 110 runs in four games, which included a top score of 53 not out, at an average of 36.66 and a strike-rate of 90.90.
“We also know what type of player Azam Khan is, what type of players Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan are, and they have performed,” Babar was quoted as saying by PakPassion.
Babar and Rizwan are now involved in the two-Test series against Bangladesh, in which Pakistan trail 1-0 after losing the first Test by 10 wickets.
In that match, Babar made scores of 0 and 22, while Rizwan struck a career-best 171 not out and 51.
The second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh started on August 30 in Rawalpindi. Babar and Rizwan scored 31 and 29 respectively in the first innings as the men in green were bowled out for 274.
