Tim Southee on visiting Pakistan: “During the Test series, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and hospitality in Karachi”

New Zealand Test captain Tim Southee said he “thoroughly enjoyed the food and hospitality in Karachi” when he visited Pakistan from December 2022 to January 2023.
Southee’s love for the country comes after he expressed an interest in playing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in the future.
“During the Test series, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and hospitality in Karachi,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
The Pakistan team haven’t been at their best as of late as they were knocked out in the group stage in the 2024 T20 World Cup.
The men in green are now involved in a two-match Test series against Bangladesh, but suffered a 10-wicket defeat in the first Test.
Having lost to Bangladesh for the very first time in the longest format, Pakistan will now look to bounce back in the second Test, which gets underway on August 30 in Rawalpindi.
