New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee has expressed his desire to play in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), calling it “an amazing tournament”.
A number of high-profile international players have featured in the PSL over the years and Southee has now shown an interest in going to Pakistan and getting involved in the T20 competition.
“The Pakistan Super League is an amazing tournament that I follow, and I would be thrilled to be a part of it in the future,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan team are gearing up for a two-match Test series against Bangladesh after a disappointing showing in the 2024 T20 World Cup, where they were knocked out in the group stage.
The two Tests between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be held in Rawalpindi and Karachi, with the series commencing on August 21 and running until September 3.
