Waqar Younis: “Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik and Sohail Tanvir are the top 3 all-rounders in Pakistan’s T20 history. That includes all T20s, not just internationals”

Legendary Pakistan pace bowler Waqar Younis has named Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik and Sohail Tanvir as the country’s top three all-rounders in T20 history.
Afridi is well-known for his big-hitting capabilities, but was also a very handy spinner as he took plenty of wickets.
Malik falls into the same category as Afridi, while Tanvir was a useful lower order batsman, but was renowned for being an excellent seamer who struck early when bowling.
“Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik and Sohail Tanvir are the top 3 all-rounders in Pakistan’s T20 history. That includes all T20s, not just internationals,” Waqar was quoted as saying by journalist Farid Khan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The Pakistan team recently featured in the 2024 T20 World Cup and lost to the United States of America and India before bouncing back to defeat Canada and Ireland.
Even though they ended the group stage with a 2-2 record, the men in green were unable to book their spot in the Super Eights.
