Omair Bin Yousuf: “They have dominated bowlers around the world”

Omair Bin Yousuf, the up-and-coming batsman, said the Pakistan batting duo of Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik “have dominated bowlers around the world.”
Azam, who captains Pakistan in limited overs cricket, is widely regarded as one of the elite all-format batsmen in the sport since he has been on top of his game for the last couple of years.
Malik, meanwhile, has been a brilliant performer for Pakistan for over 20 years but since his last game for the men in green in November 2021, he has been plying his trade in domestic T20 leagues.
“They have dominated bowlers around the world,” Yousuf, the 24-year-old cricketer from Karachi, told PakPassion.
Recently, Azam captained Pakistan in the 2024 T20 World Cup and amassed 122 runs in four matches at an average of 40.66 and a strike-rate of 101.66.
The men in green lost to the United States of America and India before rebounding to take down Canada and Ireland.
Even though they triumphed in those two games, it was not enough to earn them a spot in the Super Eights.
