Left-arm seamer Mir Hamza believes Pakistan have the best pace attack in the world, especially in white-ball cricket, and gave props to wicket-takers Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf.

He noted that the quartet all have their special traits, which is what makes the men in green such a dangerous side.

The 31-year-old admitted that he would love to be part of Pakistan’s bowling attack in limited overs cricket, but acknowledged that it will be tough to secure a spot in the team.

Regardless of what happens, Hamza conceded that he is happy as long as the other fast bowlers are doing well and leading Pakistan to victory.

“If you look at the pace attack of the national side, we have Shaheen, Amir bhai, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf. We have a world-class bowling attack and the whole world admits it,” he told PakPassion.

“Firstly, I am happy that our pace attack, especially in white-ball, is the top attack in the world. Secondly, I try my best to perform to play for Pakistan but they are doing well and I am happy about it.”

The Pakistan team recently played a five-match T20I series against New Zealand, which concluded as 2-2 draw.

They then defeated Ireland 2-1 in a three-match T20I series.

Right now, the men in green are involved in a four-match T20I series against England and trail 1-0 after losing the second game by 23 runs.

Following this, they will participate in the 2024 T20 World Cup, which will take place in the West Indies and United States of America from June 1 to 29.

Pakistan’s first T20 World Cup game will be against the United States of America in Dallas on June 6.
