Pakistan spinner Shadab Khan said popular pace brothers Naseem Shah, Hunain Shah and Ubaid Shah’s bowling skills are extraordinary.

The trio are among the rising stars of Pakistan cricket, with Naseem already having cemented his spot in the national team across all three formats.

As for Hunain, he has been performing well in domestic cricket, while Ubaid has been dominating while playing for the Pakistan Under-19 team.

Most recently, they featured for Islamabad United in the 2024 Pakistan Super League, which is the side Shadab captains.

Having seen all three of them in action throughout PSL 9, Shadab admitted it is no surprise that they are fan favourites.

“Their bowling prowess is undeniable, and we are confident they will delight fans with their skills,” he was quoted as saying by The Nation.

Naseem took 15 wickets in 11 matches in PSL 9 at an average of 22.20 and an economy rate of 7.56.

As for Hunain, he finished with eight wickets in 10 games at an average of 28.12 and an economy rate of 9.50.

Ubaid, meanwhile, went wicketless in the two matches he played.

Islamabad were crowned PSL 9 champions after defeating the Multan Sultans by two wickets in the final.

Naseem recently featured in Pakistan’s five-match T20I series against New Zealand and claimed two wickets in three games at an average of 35.50 and an economy rate of 10.14.

He is now involved in the three-match T20I series against Ireland, where the men in green trail 1-0 after losing the first game by five wickets.

After the Ireland series, Pakistan will play four T20Is against England from May 22 to May 30.
