Sarfaraz Ahmed has conceded that fellow Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan is better than him at the moment.
Rizwan has been one of Pakistan’s most consistent run-scorers in all three formats, which has made him virtually undroppable.
Sarfaraz acknowledged that the 31-year-old from Peshawar has “become more mature” and noted that he has gotten better in every department.
“Mohammad Rizwan has become more mature with time. The way he has been playing, everything about him has improved. So, I think, currently, he is the better wicketkeeper-batter,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
Rizwan recently featured in Pakistan’s five-match T20I series against New Zealand, which ended as a 2-2 draw, and accumulated 67 runs in two matches.
