Pakistan fast bowler Sohail Khan firmly believes up-and-coming batsman Khawaja Nafay is “as talented as Babar Azam and Saim Ayub.”
Nafay was one of the young standout performers in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he represented the Quetta Gladiators.
In 10 games, the 22-year-old struck 182 runs, which included a top score of 60 not out, at an average of 22.75 and a strike-rate of 121.33.
Given the power-hitting skills he displayed throughout PSL 9, Sohail is confident that Nafay will “become a real asset for Pakistan” in the future.
