Pakistan rising star Hunain Shah believes his brother Naseem is the “best bowler in the world” and thanked the 21-year-old for always backing him.
Naseem is one of Pakistan’s go-to speedsters in all three formats as he swings the ball and gets wickets regularly.
Recently, Hunain played alongside Naseem for Islamabad United in their triumphant 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL) campaign.
Naseem finished with 15 wickets in 11 matches at an average of 22.20 and an economy rate of 7.56.
Hunain, meanwhile, claimed eight wickets in 10 games at an average of 28.12 and an economy rate of 9.50.
“Naseem Shah is the best bowler in the world. He is very experienced and he passes on all the knowledge to us. He comes up to me and keeps backing me up,” the 20-year-old was quoted as saying by journalist Farid Khan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Islamabad were crowned PSL 9 champions after beating the Multan Sultans by two wickets in the final.
Pakistan’s next assignment will be a five-match T20I series against New Zealand, which will take place in Rawalpindi and Lahore from April 18 to 27.
