Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan said he and Babar Azam can enter each other’s room anytime due to their close friendship.
Rizwan acknowledged that with his other teammates in the Pakistan team, he usually messages them before going to their room.
However, since he and Azam have a very close bond, they don’t need to adhere to those rules.
“Normally, we message someone before entering their room but me and Babar can enter each other’s room anytime because of our friendship,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
Rizwan recently captained the Multan Sultans in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL), while Azam led the Peshawar Zalmi.
Azam ended up finishing as the highest run-scorer with 569 runs in 11 matches, which included a century and five fifties, at an average of 56.90 and a strike-rate of 142.60.
As for Rizwan, he was the third-highest run-scorer with 407 runs in 12 games, which included four half-centuries, at an average of 33.91 and a strike-rate of 122.22.
