Legendary Pakistan fast bowler Waqar Younis said Khawaja Nafay showed no respect to Shaheen Shah Afridi during his jaw-dropping batting blitz against the left-arm speedster in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Afridi, who captains Pakistan in T20Is and the Lahore Qalandars in the PSL, was taken to the cleaners by the 22-year-old Quetta Gladiators batsman, who is considered to be a rising star.

“He’s showing no respect to Shaheen Afridi, who’s the captain of Pakistan. No fear at all,” he was quoted as saying by journalist Farid Khan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
