Pakistan speedster Hasan Ali is determined to secure a spot for himself in the national team for the 2024 T20 World Cup in June.
Hasan noted that the tournament is important to him and is thus ready to do everything in his power to be picked by the selectors.
The 29-year-old definitely took steps in the right direction during the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL) as he claimed 14 wickets in 10 matches for the Karachi Kings at an average of 22.42 and an economy rate of 8.26.
“I want to represent Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup. This is an important tournament for me. I want to get the selectors’ attention with my performance in this tournament (PSL 9) and make a return to the T20I team,” he was quoted as saying by A Sports.
The Kings failed to make the playoffs in PSL 9 as they finished in fifth place on the points table after winning four out of the 10 games they played.
