Pakistan pace bowler Hasan Ali: “My recent performances [for Pakistan] were not that good. I played well in the World Cup but in the recent Test series, [I] could not pick many wickets”

Pakistan pace bowler Hasan Ali has honestly assessed his performances as of late, admitting that he hasn’t been good enough.
He noted that he was happy with the way he performed in the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup, where claimed nine wickets in six matches at an average of 35.66 and an economy rate of 6.29.
However, the 29-year-old from Gujranwala conceded that he should have done a lot better in the recent three-match Test series against Australia as he only managed to take two wickets in two games at an average of 91.
“My recent performances [for Pakistan] were not that good. I played well in the World Cup but in the recent Test series, [I] could not pick many wickets,” he was quoted as saying by A Sports.
Currently, Hasan is in action for the Karachi Kings in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and has picked up 13 wickets in eight matches at an average of 19.84 and an economy rate of 8.32.
