Pakistan fast bowler Ihsanullah said he is “feeling way better than before” and swinging the ball with full pace as he continues making headway in his impending return to competitive cricket.

Ihsanullah has been out of action for months with an elbow injury, which caused him to miss the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup, Pakistan’s three-Test series against Australia, and the five-match T20I series against New Zealand.

The 21-year-old from Matta was set to make his long-awaited comeback for the Multan Sultans in the ongoing 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL), but he was ruled out of the tournament.

Nonetheless, he is glad to be nearing full fitness and is raring to get back on the field.

“I’m feeling way better than before, I tried to swing the ball with full pace during the practice sessions, and I was able to do it accurately,” he told Geo News.
