Former Pakistan batting coach Grant Flower has admitted that batsman Ahmed Shehzad is “quite rebellious”.
Shehzad last played for the national team during the T20 series against Sri Lanka in October 2019.
However, the 28-year-old recently represented the Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), but failed to live up to expectations as he scored 61 runs in seven matches at an average of 8.71 and a strike-rate of 95.31.
Despite this, Flower conceded that Shehzad is a “very skillful batter”.

“He [Shehzad] is a very skillful batter, but quite rebellious. Every team has got its rebel. Sometimes it makes them better players, sometimes maybe not so,” Flower, who is now Sri Lanka’s batting coach, said on the Following on Cricket Podcast as quoted by Cricket Pakistan.
