Former England captain Michael Vaughan has described Pakistan Twenty20 captain Babar Azam’s batting as “poetry”.
Vaughan’s comments come after Azam scored an unbeaten 59 in the first Twenty20 International against Australia, which was abandoned due to heavy rain, and 50 in the second Twenty20 International, which Australia won by seven wickets.

“Babar Azam is poetry,” Vaughan said on Twitter.
This series is Azam’s first as Pakistan’s Twenty20 captain and he will be looking to ensure it ends as a 1-1 draw when his side take on Australia in the third and final match in Perth on Friday.
