Former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja believes that pace bowler Mohammad Hasnain and spinner Mohammad Nawaz should have been picked for the Test series against Australia.

Hasnain has been included in the team for the three-match Twenty20 series, which will be held from November 3 to 8, but was left out of the side for the two-Test series, which will take place from November 21 to December 3.

As for Nawaz, he wasn’t included in either team.

“Imran Khan senior is making a comeback after two years and is only suited for Asian conditions,” Ramiz, who was referring to Imran being picked in the Test squad, said in a YouTube video as quoted by cricketpakistan.com.pk. “We needed a pacer like Mohammad Hasnain who could bowl at 150 kph and hit the deck hard. Similarly, Mohammad Nawaz should have been selected [as he] is performing well and was part of the Test squad [for the] last tour to Australia.”
