Legendary Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi is confident that Sarfaraz Ahmed will “make a strong comeback”.
Afridi’s support for Sarfaraz comes after the 32-year-old was sacked as Test and Twenty20 captain, and dropped for the upcoming tour of Australia, which will consist of three Twenty20 Internationals from November 3 to 8, and two Tests from November 21 to December 3.
“Sarfaraz shouldn’t dishearten himself, as he can still serve Pakistan as a player as well, and he has still got the time to make a strong comeback,” Afridi said in a video as quoted by the Business Recorder.
