Pakistan pace bowler Mohammad Hasnain took a spectacular hat-trick in his side’s loss to Sri Lanka in the first Twenty20 International in Lahore.
Hasnain provided one of the lone bright moments for Pakistan as he dismissed Bhanuka Rajapaksa on the final ball of the 16th over.
With Hasnain going on to take out Dasun Shanaka and Shehan Jayasuriya on the first two balls of his next over, he completed his first-ever hat-trick in international cricket.
However, his efforts with the ball, which saw him finish with figures of 3-37 off his four overs, went in vain as Sri Lanka won the match by 64 runs.
With a hat-trick under his belt, Hasnain, who is only 19, opened up about his aspirations to play Test cricket.
“I hope that I will be given an opportunity to play in Tests for Pakistan..and I will give my 100 percent,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion.
