Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan hammered an unbeaten 70 and took a wicket to lead his side to a four-wicket win over Afghanistan in Chattogram.
Being put in to bat first, Afghanistan got off to an excellent start as Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Hazratullah Zazai amassed a 75-run partnership before Zazai was dismissed by Afif Hossain for a 35-ball 47, which included six boundaries and two sixes.
Afif struck again two balls later as he took out Asghar Afghan for a duck.
Gurbaz went on to make 29 before he was caught and bowled by Mustafizur Rahman.
Once Gurbaz was gone, Afghanistan began to lose wickets at regular intervals as they went from being 80/3 in the 11th over to finishing on 138/7.
Afif was the pick of the bowlers with two wickets, while Mustafizur, Shakib, Shafiul Islam and Mohammad Saifuddin chipped in with one wicket apiece.
