Mahmudullah walloped a 41-ball 62 to lead Bangladesh to a 39-run win over Bangladesh in the fourth match of the T20 tri-series in Chattogram.
Being put in to bat first, Bangladesh got off to a great start as Liton Das and Najmul Hossain Shanto amassed a 49-run partnership before Najmul was caught and bowled by Kyle Jarvis for 11 runs.
Liton went on to score 38 before he was dismissed by Chris Mpofu, while captain Shakib Al Hasan was sent packing by Ryan Burl for 10 runs.
Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim stabilised the innings with a 78-run partnership before Rahim was caught behind off the bowling of Tinotenda Mutombodzi for 32.
Afif Hossain fell shortly after, while Mahmudullah was removed by Jarvis for 62, which came off 41 balls and included a boundary and five sixes.
With Mosaddek Hossain being dismissed the very next ball, Bangladesh ended up finishing on 175/7.
Jarvis was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets, while Mpofu took two, and Burl and Mutombodzi chipped in with one wicket apiece.
Chasing 176 to win, Zimbabwe were dealt a huge blow on the fifth ball of their innings as Brendan Taylor was caught by Shakib at mid-off off the bowling of Saifuddin for a duck.
Regis Chakabva was clean bowled by Shakib for a duck, while Sean Williams, Mutombodzi, Burl, captain Hamilton Masakadza and Neville Madziva all fell shortly after.
With Zimbabwe reeling at 66/7, Richmond Mutumbami and Jarvis put up a fight as they amassed a 58-run partnership before Mutumbami was sent packing by Shafiul Islam for a career-best 54, which came off 32 balls and included four boundaries and three sixes.
Jarvis ended up making 27 before he was removed by Mustafizur Rahman.
Zimbabwe ended up being bowled out for 136 when Ainsley Ndlovu was cleaned up by Mustafizur for two runs.
Shafiul was the most successful bowler with three wickets, while Mustafizur and Aminul Islam took two wickets apiece. As for Saifuddin and Shakib, they claimed one wicket each.
Mahmudullah was named Man of the Match.
