Persistent rain led to the first day of the second Ashes Test between England and Australia at Lord’s being washed out.
Not even a toss was possible due to the inclement weather.
The umpires decided to call things off for the day at 4.20pm and the match will now be a four-day fixture with additional overs added to each day.
Furthermore, the follow-on margin will now be reduced to 150.
The forecast looks a lot more promising for Thursday.
