Asif Ali: “When Inzamam-ul-Haq found out that my daughter was suffering with stage 4 cancer, he personally went down to [the] PCB office, spoke about the funds for treatment and got it sorted”

Pakistan batsman Asif Ali has revealed that outgoing chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq personally helped him get funds for his daughter’s cancer treatment.

Asif’s touching revelation comes after Inzamam announced that he would be stepping down as chief selector at the end of the month.

Asif’s daughter, Noor Fatima, had stage 4 cancer and received treatment in the United States. However, she sadly died at the age of two.
