Pakistan batsman Babar Azam may have one of the nicest cover drives in the world, but he surprisingly revealed that his favourite stroke is the cut shot.
Azam was Pakistan’s best batsman at the World Cup as he accumulated 474 runs in eight matches, which included a century and three fifties, at an average of 67.71.
While straight and cover drives tend to be the most pleasing shots to play, Azam reiterated that he likes the cut shot.
🗣️ "My dream is that I rank amongst the top players and prove to be better for the team."
