Babar Azam has revealed that he is determined to be the top-ranked batsman in all formats in five years’ time.
The Pakistan batsman is coming off a fantastic World Cup campaign, where he accumulated 474 runs in eight matches, which included a century and three fifties, at an average of 67.71.
Azam is currently the top-ranked batsman in Twenty20 Internationals and in third place on the ODI batsmen rankings. As for the Test standings, he sits in 18th place.

“What I’ve planned is that is that I have to give my 100 percent,” he told the International Cricket Council (ICC). “And my dream is that I rank amongst the top players, top ranking, and I prove to be better for the team, make my team win because of my performance and make the players also feel happy. So, I want to perform better.”
