“What I’ve planned is that is that I have to give my 100 percent,” he told the International Cricket Council (ICC). “And my dream is that I rank amongst the top players, top ranking, and I prove to be better for the team, make my team win because of my performance and make the players also feel happy. So, I want to perform better.”

  1. He is a fantastic player without a shred of doubt, and he can only improve with that sort of commitment. But….

He should keep his mouth shut, and work quietly at his goal. This is a hard game when things are not going your way, and it all depends on how tough you are mentally if you are to turn things over. As great as Virat is, he never ever made any noise about what he was going to become at some point in future. In my opinion, Babar is more gifted than Virat, but does he have the kind of hunger and discipline that Virat has ? The answer to this question will decide whether or not Babar lives up to his ambitions. I wish him all the very best. I enjoy watching him bat.

    • I think it’s good that he has the drive to be the best. That’s what every batsman wants to achieve. I agree with you that now he just has to focus on being more consistent and helping Pakistan win matches. If he does that, he’ll be in the same class as Kohli.
