Former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq doesn’t think the national team will make any changes to their playing XI when they clash with Bangladesh at Lord’s on Friday.
Pakistan face an extremely tough task to get into the World Cup semi-finals as they have to beat Bangladesh by over 300 runs.
With a near impossible task ahead of them, Misbah doesn’t think the men in green will change their squad, especially as they have won their last three matches, which were against South Africa, New Zealand and Afghanistan.
If Pakistan fail to beat Bangladesh by a large enough margin, then New Zealand will join Australia, India and England in the last four.
“I don’t think so,” Misbah told ESPNcricinfo. “Pakistan need to win that game and they have found their best eleven, their winning combination. So, I don’t think they are going to [make any] changes. Obviously, (Mohammad) Hasnain, he hasn’t played any games, but it’s an important game for Pakistan to win, so the best eleven is the one that is already winning.”
