Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur has said that the players are “incredibly passionate about the country they represent”.
Arthur’s comments come after Pakistan has endured a turbulent World Cup campaign, in which they have won two out of the six games they have played.
With their most recent win coming against South Africa on Sunday, it kept the men in green’s hopes of qualifying for the World Cup semi-finals alive.

“What I can tell you about those boys is they are incredible human beings, first and foremost, they try 100 percent every time we go down for a training [session]. They [are] incredibly passionate about the country they represent and they are incredibly passionate about their cricket,” Arthur was quoted as saying by Saj Sadiq on Twitter.
“They’re an absolute pleasure to work with and that was why it hurt us so much this last week as a national cricket team because these boys are incredibly proud. Every time they go out and represent Pakistan, they are incredibly proud about it.”
Pakistan’s next World Cup match will be against New Zealand at Edgbaston on Wednesday.
