Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed has admitted that his side need to improve their fielding after they had another disappointing performance in the field against South Africa on Sunday.
The men in green dropped seven catches in their clash against the Proteas, but still managed to triumph by 49 runs.
However, Sarfraz knows that the result may be a lot different in future matches if his side fail to up their game in the field.
“We have to work hard on our fielding – again we dropped so many catches so hopefully we will work hard because all three remaining matches are very crucial so we need to sort out these things,” Sarfraz was quoted as saying by PakPassion.
Pakistan’s next World Cup match will be against New Zealand at Edgbaston on Wednesday.
