Pakistan left-arm seamer Wahab Riaz believes that his side can win all four of their remaining group stage matches and qualify for the semi-finals at the World Cup.
However, with Pakistan currently sitting on three points, winning all four of their remaining matches doesn’t necessarily guarantee them a spot in the last four.
In order to reach the semi-finals, Pakistan will need to rely on the results of other games.
Despite this, Wahab is optimistic his side can make it to the last four.
“The morale of the boys is good. I think it’s good that we’re under so much pressure, you’ve seen that the Pakistan team has done well under pressure and insha’Allah in the next few games we’ll do well and qualify for the semi-finals,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion.
Pakistan’s next World Cup match will be against South Africa at Lord’s on Sunday.
