Former Pakistan captain Salman Butt is optimistic that the national team can qualify for the semi-finals at the World Cup.
Pakistan have only won one of their first five games in the tournament.
With three points to their name, even if Pakistan win all four of their remaining group stage matches, they are not guaranteed a spot in the last four as they will need to depend on the results of other matches.
Despite this, Salman believes that the men in green can still make it to the semi-finals.
“I hope they will bounce back and fight for a place in the semis,” he told The Nation.
Pakistan’s next World Cup match will be against South Africa at Lord’s on Sunday.
