Legendary Pakistan pace bowler Aaqib Javed believes that there could be a rift between captain Sarfraz Ahmed, head coach Mickey Arthur and chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq.
Pakistan have struggled in ODIs this year as they were beaten 3-2 by South Africa, whitewashed 5-0 by Australia in the United Arab Emirates and crushed 4-0 by England.
Their poor form has followed them in the World Cup, where they have won just one of their five games thus far.
With reports rife that Sarfraz could be sacked as captain, and that Arthur and Inzamam will be removed from their respective posts, Javed feels that relations between the trio are frosty.
“There is no harmony between coach, captain and chief selector,” he told the Mumbai Mirror.
Pakistan’s next World Cup match will be against South Africa at Lord’s on Sunday.
