Pakistan left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir believes that is his side “stay positive”, they can win all their remaining games and even go on to taste World Cup glory.
Amir’s comments come after the men in green lost to Australia by 41 runs in Taunton on Wednesday.
Pakistan have now got three points from four games as they have won one, lost two and had one of their matches washed out.
“We have to win all the games from here and if we stay positive then I am sure we will be able to achieve that,” Amir was quoted as saying by Geo.tv.
“The World Cup is a big tournament and all the teams will be under pressure. So, we just need to stay positive.”
Pakistan’s next World Cup match will be against their arch-rivals India in Manchester on Sunday.
