Nasser Hussain: “Some guys you will bowl a good ball to and they just get a single. Then you look up at the scoreboard and they are 40 off 40 balls without even taking a risk”

Former England captain Nasser Hussain believes Pakistan batsman Babar Azam is an elite player like India skipper Virat Kohli, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson and England batsman Joe Root.
In addition to having a knack of making it look easy to score runs, Hussain noted that all four batsmen are also capable of getting singles off excellent deliveries, which other batsmen would struggle against.
He added that when the quartet are out at the crease, they score quickly and in an efficient manner.

Azam struck a 66-ball 63 in Pakistan’s 14-run World Cup win over England in Nottingham on Monday and will have his sights set on another good score when the men in green take on Sri Lanka in Bristol on Friday.
